Haven’t had too much time to do anything other than school-related things recently so there’s not too much to say. I will say that I did manage to ‘finish’ The World Ends With You but seriously there’s a lot of stuff afterwards. I got through most of it but Tin Pin Slammer hates me. Or maybe I just suck. I’ll just push my luck and say both. That aside, it was a really good game. I was so into the story and as angry as Neku when crazy things happened. Sure, some of it was angsty and cheesy (Correction: it was full of angst and cheese) but it was still crazy in its plot-twisting and diverse array of characters. I’d also love to find a game script, but there doesn’t seem to be on on GameFaqs… I’ll guess I’ll have to look elsewhere…
Change of plans

So apparently I didn’t go out of town last week as I planned but ended up having to work like crazy (or as crazy as it gets for a procrastinator. So more like it got crazy around midnight.) And to add to my limited amounts of time, last Saturday, I ‘decided’ to sleep (on and off) for about 17 hours. And I was still tired. (Sure it could have been from oversleeping but somehow I doubt that.) But I guess that’s what happens right after you write the SATs, which I did that morning. It was long yet short. Three-and-a-half-ish hours of testing in 10 parts, where the last part is 14 questions in 10 minutes. Fun stuff. The only highlights were that the essay was the first testing part (I wanted to get that out of the way as soon as possible) and that, since it’s for my ‘reach’ choice, I won’t bother taking the SATs again. But seriously, who forces you to write in cursive anymore? Sure, it was only for the legal agreement stuff, but who really cares if you write in cursive or not? Because of that, I spent a good minute trying to remember how to write a cursive capital ‘I’. I was not impressed. But thank goodness they didn’t make us write in cursive for the essay. That would have sucked.
The only thing is now, I have to wait another month before the results. Grr.
But enough of my ranting (or so you think… hehehe)
Let’s move on to some other stuff, shall we?

This obviously is a day late but I was out all day yesterday so here it is now! As many people do cool things for Halloween, this WoW pumpkin carving contest is pretty frickin AWESOME. I was originally just going to link to some other cool game-related carvings but these blew the WoW ones were even better. A couple of my friends and I carved a pumpkin but being the non-artistic people we are, we printed out a stencil and carved around that instead. We were still pretty proud of ourselves

Well, as I’ve been mainly posting about my time at Fan Expo in the last few weeks, there are a couple things here and there that didn’t fit in which I will be able to now! (Yay?) I initially tried to add a couple new things but realized it was getting out of hand so that will be for next time.
And just out of curiosity,
WHY AM I STILL KILLING MOSQUITOES IN OCTOBER?!?!?!
I live in a place where we have roughly 6 months of winter, which start in mid to late October, but bugs are usually gone by September! I guess it doesn’t help that part of my mom’s garden has been moved indoors but that only brings in small flies. The point is this does not help what little concentration/patience I already have.
Oh and I’m already behind on Heroes and Fringe but I will hopefully get caught up on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice tonight. And don’t even get me started on anything anime… (or Smallville…)
No I did not go see the Jonas Brothers…

Or the Wonder Girls (grr. I’m jealous of my friends who did see them sing Nobody). I was at the Fan Expo!
This is a little late now but the end of summer and school were a little higher up on my list so yeah! Better late than never? lol
It was an action-packed three days (with little sleep) and an awesome time. My only regret is that I didn’t use a lot of flash in my pictures so many ended up blurry but I was just trying to be nice and not add to the blindness created by all the other flash photographers. But apparently, it was needed. I still have a lot of pictures though so it’s alright.

Being me, I forgot to say anything about how I was going to be away at my friend’s cottage for a week! But that aside, I had NO INTERNET! This trip reminded me of my dependence on it and how integral it has become in our everyday lives. Not that it’s completely a bad thing, though. Just something to think about. Particularly how many hours you spend in a day staring at a screen… and what time of day… but anyway, I was always busy so I think there were only two long moments when I thought about wanting the internet and that was only because some of the people I was with were going into town that day to go to an internet cafe and the other time was because I remember it was Friday and I’d have to read my weekly manga and possibly start writing my weekly(ish) post. Which I have to say was pretty impressive. I still can’t believe I survived a whole week! Of course, that will make me even more behind but that’s just something I have to deal with… lol
While at the cottage, I was able to see this cool sky after a storm.
It’s really cool because you can still see some blue in the sky mixed with the pink as well as a rainbow and where the sunset is currently hitting the trees. Very cool. Here is some more of the mix of pink and blue sky and this one is full out pink.

Hello! Unfortunately, I can only do a short post today (er… shorter-ish? I don’t even know) due to people taking over my room with my computer (guest room only has a single/double bed (fits one person basically) while I have a queen.) and also, due to said people, we will probably be going out. Just came back from a quick trip to Montreal so that was fun. Pretty city. My friend and I happened to run into people we knew from school which was interesting. We seem to have a talent for running into people we know outside our home city or even randomly within our city. Or maybe everyone does? Anyway, possibly because we’re just awkward people it’s always interesting. (But in the back of my mind, I’m thinking, “Is that a good thing?”).

SUMMER SCHOOL IS DONE!

And I saw Harry Potter. Twice. First on opening day and then again just a couple hours ago (with different people). The crowd on the first day laughed a lot more than today. Without spoilers, I thought the movie was hilarious but the last 5 minutes were crap.
And I don’t really care that nothing happened in this week’s Bleach chapter (not even other party’s reactions. Except for Hitsugaya’s, but meh he’s not that important).
Vaizards pwn.
However, Omni has basically said my thoughts of how this will lead. It’s obviously not going to end that quickly so some obstacles/diversions will need to be put into place. Bankai is definitely a start. And illusions can always be added in at any time so that’s always a possibility. I’m sure there’s a zanpakuto/weapon for every power imaginable in the Bleach universe so I’m sure Tite Kubo will be able to think of more diversions. Still, anything with the vizards is cool. I just hope it doesn’t get to the point where I’m sick of them too.

And Happy Canada Day from earlier this week!
I started summer school this week and while it’s not quite the “no homework” that I had last summer, it’s still pretty close to be okay. My teacher likes to go off-topic and tell stories so it’s pretty interesting, even for three straight weeks of math/statistics. I find that teachers make or break how much I enjoy a class so I’m lucky that this teacher makes the course bearable.
Anyway, that aside, I’ve been really sidetracked so I need to make another list of what I should do/am in the middle of doing and should keep doing.
EDIT: (After reading the new Bleach Chapter) FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although I wasn’t expecting both at the same time (I was expecting that to be stretched) THEY ARE FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
